why is yahoo email not working for me? 092908 tulsa?
the tulsa librarian said she can log in to yahoo email, but I get a message when I try to access yahoo email that it is down.... why ? (for over an hour now)

Yahoo has been upgrading and doing maintenance on their servers, causing them to go off line, seems to be affecting many accounts now. You can access your mail here for now through the back door, it's basic, but it works. http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail Or: http://de.m.yahoo.com/p/mail

About Where should I live in Tulsa
Where should I live in Tulsa?
I am moving to tulsa in a month for work and I need to know the best place I can rent an apartment. I would like to live in the Cherry Street or Brookside area. I am fine with a small space and would like to stay under $500 per month. Any website links would be greatly appreciated. Also, any parts of town to avoid would also be helpful. My job is in Utica Square and I would like to live close by. Thanks!

I can't really help you on that, but I can say prepare for a lot of tornado sirens and storms... Tulsa is more tornado active then most cities around Oklahoma.

apartmentguide.com is a good website. I would avoid the northside of Tulsa and the East side. Brookside and Cherry street is a GREAT area to live in especially if you're working in Utica Square. Anything out south is good, but if you're working in Utica Square it won't be a close drive compared to Brookside and Cherry St.
